Fighting through depression, alcohol, and drugs I earned a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Illinois at Urbana. I served as a Professor of Philosophy at St. Cloud State University and later as the Boeing Frank Shrontz Endowed Chair for Professional Ethics at Seattle University. I left Seattle University in 2015 to pursue music.
